Camps offered

Camps I-VIII
These are one-week resident camps.  Sessions begin on Sunday afternoon and end on Saturday afternoon.  Room and board is provided.  Mornings are devoted to educational activities related to the Edwards Aquifer, aquatic biology and water chemistry.  Afternoons are filled with a variety of fun aquatic activities designed to enhance appreciation for aquatic resources, particularly groundwater.  These activities include tubing on the San Marcos River, glass-bottom boat ride at Aquarena Center, scuba/snorkeling at local dive facility, rafting on the Guadalupe River, swimming at Landa Park pool (a spring-fed pool in New Braunfels),  a trip to Sea World San Antonio and more. Scheduled activities may be modified due to weather or other contingencies. 

Tuition:
$595 per student (includes room, board, instruction and all activities for the week).  There is a $50 cancellation fee. The entire deposit is forfeited if cancellation is not made at least 2 weeks before camp.  

Enrollment:
Enrollment is on a first-come-first-served basis and is limited to 30 students per session.  A reservation is confirmed on receipt of $100 deposit. Full payment is due on or before the day of registration (for each session).  Payments made within two week of camp start date must be by cash, cashier's check or money order.

Camps IX and X
These camps are 2-day sessions offered as non-resident day camps.  Mornings and afternoons are devoted to educational activities related to the Edwards Aquifer, aquatic biology and water chemistry.  A scuba/snorkeling activity is included.  Room and board is not provided.

Tuition:
$120 per student. Full payment must be received in advance to reserve a placement. There is a $25 cancellation fee.
