EARDC Drought Data
The Edwards Aquifer Research and Data Center (EARDC) was established by the Texas Legislature in September of 1979 through special item funding for Texas State University. The mission of EARDC is to serve the public in the study, understanding and use of the Edward's Aquifer. EARDC is located in the Harold M. Freeman Aquatic Biology Building on the Texas State University campus in San Marcos. Its operations are organized around four major areas: a Technical Services, A Research Center, a Data Center and an Education Center.
