Hill Country Groundwater Conservation Districts Alliance study area map of the Central Trinity Aquifer adapted from the Texas Water Development Board. The groundwater level data is examined by looking for patterns of fluctuation of water levels.During the 2000 summer drought the groundwater level data was compiled to form contour lines. The contours line are in 100ft intervals representing the down gradient groundwater flow at that time period. The groundwater flows towards the Edwards Aquifer to recharge the area.
