An outcrop of Cow Creek Limestone located in Pace Bend Park. Notice the stratigraphy.

A close up of cow creek limestone with fossil fragments in the river shore. By examining the geomorphology of the area there is evidence that this area of deposition was a high-energy area. The lithography in the picture is quite porous that allows for direct recharge. Although this layer of Cow Creek is porous the porosity of the subsurface layer is undetermined.

This Hensell sand formation is located in a transition zone below the lower Upper Glen Rose. There is a noticeable change in material that is easily disturbed that breaks up effortlessly.
